What is Night mode?
An arming mode that protects the perimeter while you move freely indoors.
How it works
Night mode is its own arming mode — not just a setting. It activates only the devices you've chosen, while the rest of the system stays inactive. That means you can sleep, or spend the evening at home, with the perimeter protected without indoor movement triggering an alarm.
- •Door and window sensors, glass break detectors, motion detectors and cameras can all be included in Night mode — you choose device by device.
- •Night mode is disabled by default for every device and must be enabled in each device's settings.
- •You can enable Night mode even while the system is already armed in the normal mode.
- •Unlike regular arming and disarming, Night mode isn't logged in the event feed — only notifications are sent.
To enable Night mode for a device
- 1Open the device's settings in the app, or ask your installer.
- 2Enable Night mode for the devices you want included.
- 3Save — the device now joins Night mode the next time you activate it.
To activate Night mode itself
- •In the app: tap the Night mode button under Control.
- •With a SpaceControl remote or a keypad: press the Night mode button, or enter your code and confirm with that button.
- •Want it to happen automatically every evening? Schedule it with a scenario in the app.
With multiple groups (partitions), regular arming and Night mode work together — devices set to Night mode stay active even if the rest of the group is disarmed.
